Review: The Green Children – Encounter

By iWontSTFU On September 19, 2010 Under Reviews

The Green Children Encounters

When I was introduced to “The Green Children” I was pleasantly surprised about their unique sound. The duo consists of Milla Sunde who’s from Norway and Tom ‘Marlow’ Bevan who’s from the UK. Both met in a music school in Liverpool – and thank God they found each other!

Their debut album “Encounter” which will be released on Oct 12 is a record that let’s you forget the world around you. For some reason when I heard the first song I thought of UK sensation Ellie Goulding who I also love but “The Green Children” do definitely differ from her. Milla Sunde’s voice is simply great and special and blends perfectly with the interesting sound of pop combined with dance elements. It kind of feels like you’re in a fantasy world as well.

Highlights: Hear Me Now, Life Saviour and R U Out There.

The LP is definitely worth checking out.
